Newborn Screening and Recommended Uniform Screening Panel (RUSP) Alignment
The Association of Public Health Laboratories (APHL) Newborn Screening Technical assistance and Evaluation Program (NewSTEPs) New Disorders Workgroup hosted a discussion on RUSP alignment. During this webinar, state newborn screening (NBS) programs shared their experiences with the RUSP alignment process and discussed what worked, the challenges encountered, and how to ensure this process is mutually beneficial to NBS programs and advocates. Every Life Foundation also presented to discuss the organization's role in the RUSP alignment legislative process and how they engage with the state NBS program.
