New Disorders Training Workshop: Tandem Mass Spectrometry, DNA Sequencing and Follow-Up

This two-and-a-half day intensive workshop will feature hands on laboratory training on tandem mass spectrometry and DNA sequencing (Sanger and Next Generation) technologies designed to enhance the didactic portions of the workshop, with a focus on X-Linked Adrenoleukodystrophy (X-ALD), Mucopolysaccharidosis I (MPS I) and Pompe disease newborn screening. The workshop will accept six applicants from the newborn screening laboratory and six applicants from newborn screening follow-up. Continuing Education Units (CEUs) will be offered for this workshop.
