Dr. Botto described the partnership between Critical Congenital Heart Disease (CCHD) and Birth Defects Registry (BDR) during the NewSTEPs in-person meeting in 2014. Utah has used the partnership between CCHD and BDR to evaluate the rate of CCHD and estimate the number of live births per year by condition.
