This is part two of a presentation by Lisa Hom during the NewSTEPs Critical Congenital Heart Disease (CCHD) In-Person meeting in 2014. A workgroup of experts from around the nation was formed to develop the recommended limited data elements for both the birth facility level and for public health programs. Ms. Hom also described the quality improvement initiatives on-going as part of the DC CCHD demonstration project including electronic data transfer of individual pulse ox pre- and post-ductal saturations from the oximeter device to electronic medical records.
