This information sheet was developed by the Iowa Newborn Screening Program in an effort to spread awareness about newborn screening among the midwife community in Iowa. This sheet reviews roles and resources available. These were shared with midwives across Iowa, along with lancets, gauze, alcohol wipes, a guide for filling out newborn screening cards and a guide for collecting newborn screens.
