Interoperability Webinar on Linkage of Vital Records and Newborn Screening Data

In collaboration with Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA) and Altarum, APHL NewSTEPs hosted a webinar focused on the importance of connecting Vital Records and newborn screening (NBS).
The webinar featured presentations from Florida and Utah about their efforts to improve the integration between the jurisdictional Vital Records offices and NBS programs. An efficient and effective data exchange between these programs is central to ensuring that all newborns are screened, and that impacted individuals receive crucial support and services.
