The 2017 Gene Sequencing in Public Health Newborn Screening Meeting, co-sponsored by APHL, CDC and HRSA, addressed the current status of gene sequencing in newborn screening (NBS), and identified barriers and potential solutions for the successful incorporation of gene sequencing into NBS.
