Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia (CAH) Cases Identified by Newborn Screening (NBS) in One- and Two-Screen States

This article examines at the detection rate of congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH) between one screen and two screen states. While there was equal ascertainment for classical salt-wasting CAH, the second screen has the potential to identify more infants with simple virilizing and non-classical CAH cases.
