Congenital adrenal hyperplasia cases identified by newborn screening in one- and two-screen states

This article examines at the detection rate of congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH) between one screen and two screen states. While there was equal ascertainment for classical salt-wasting CAH, the second screen has the potential to identify more infants with simple virilizing and non-classical CAH cases.
