APHL Issues RFPs for New Disorders

APHL is pleased to announce the release of two Requests for Proposals to support implementation of newborn screening for Pompe Disease, Mucopolysaccharidosis I (MPS-1) and X-linked Adrenoleukodystrophy (x-ALD).

RFP #1: APHL is seeking applicants to implement newborn screening for one or more of the following disorders: Pompe Disease, Mucopolysaccharidosis I (MPS-1) and X-linked Adrenoleukodystrophy (x-ALD). The application can be found by navigating to www.aphl.org/rfp

  • Letter of Intent due by October 19, 2016 at 5:00 pm ET
  • RFP Application Due by November 18, 2016 at 5:00 pm ET

RFP #2: APHL is seeking applicants to serve as Peer Network Resource Centers (PNRC) to provide technical assistance and/or first- and/or second- tier newborn screening for Pompe Disease, Mucopolysaccharidosis I (MPS-1) and X-linked Adrenoleukodystrophy (x-ALD).
